Aerial yoga combines the structure of a yoga class focusing on the mind body spirit connection with the use of the aerial hammock. This class is designed for the beginner, working with grounded movements with the fabric and variations from ground to flight. The aerial yoga technique makes many yoga postures more accessible and naturally helps with body alignment. This class is designed for the beginner to become acquainted with flight and how the hammock can be used as a fun and new way of movement. Prior yoga or aerial experience is not necessary. Come fly with us!
Contraindications of aerial yoga include glaucoma, heart disease, vertigo, very high or low blood pressure, recent concussion or stroke, epilepsy, herniated discs or osteoporosis.
Bring your own mat or one will be provided for you. Kindly remove any jewelry/watches before class. Workout clothing with no buttons or zippers preferred.
